MGEF stands for Music Games Everyday February.
There is another event dedicated for dance game players, Dance Games Everyday February.
In either event, you try to play rhythm games everyday in February. You can either hit the arcade, or play at home.
@ambones, a US Dance Dance Revolution player, created this event in 2023 (or was it earlier?). In this event, I clocked 20 out of 28 days visiting the arcade to play Maimai DX. I didn't know if there was an MGEF this year, so didn't participate.
